For the final SweetCopy Contest of 2008, let’s focus on the words the precede “The End.” Every good story — from silly, shaggy dogs to the darkest noir mysteries — needs a BIG FINISH.

To win the BIG FINISH contest write and submit the best final sentence.

The winner will receive:

  • A story written with the winning ending…
  • A $25 gift certificate to the Strand Bookstore…

Send your entry to Candy@sweetcopy.com by Friday, December 19. The winner will be announced at the end of January and the story ending with the BIG FINISH winning line will appear on the SweetCopy website in the spring of 2009.
