Congratulations to Janice C. Her creation, Daphne, will appear in a SweetCopy story in 2010. Janice will also receive a $25 gift certificate for a shopping spree at the Strand Bookstore.
Daphne’s penchant for disingenuous ditzy-ness put her ahead of the other ‘character’ entrants in the contest. She’s the perfect hapless sidekick in a classic cozy-style mystery but could serve equally well as a deceptive foil in a contemporary noir.
